Praise God under His guidance Hong En Methodist Church has formed a Girls’ Brigade company. SRC (Sarawak Regional Council) Chairperson LT Wong Huong Yung came to train 9 officers on 4th to 5th September2004. The first meeting was held on 19th September with 24 girls between the ages of 6 – 12 . |

district companiest have celebrated 35th anniversary
thanksgiving service successfully on 12th June 2004,at All
Saints' Cathedral church,the 1st GB begun in Sabah. Beginning of the service,The Kota Kinabalu Group Council's flag dedicated by Archbishop Datuk Yong Ping Chung,who is our special guest of honour,after the colours party of the company have marching in into the church. Open your inspirit eyes,"The Harvest Is Ready".The harvesty of the spirit of man,the harvesty of life for God,life for Jesus.Is the meaning of this words that really touch our heart. Long service award has given on that day,then we have cake cutting. From the bottom of the cake,it is on behalf of 1st KK( 35th years old),going up to,on be half of 2nd KK (25th years old),the middle part,on be half of 4th KK(15th years old),then, the 5th KK( 5th years old),and the top,1st Penampang(1st year old). A small and simple parade prepared after the thanksgiving service.The guard of honour marching in follow by the marching music beat which play by the 5th KK band.Also,the juniors and cadets section line up beside,in front of it. The Guard of Honour accepted the inspection by the Guest of Honour,Archbishop Datuk Yong. Lastly,Thank God for the soldiers of Christ(girls) are stands straight and smartly under the sun,in front of us. We will remember this meaningfull day in our life. Alvira Lee Sabah rep |

From 25th to 28th November 2004, the YLGBSL Sabah was held in Shen En Methodist Church KK. There were 26 girls and 2 officers who attended the training. |
