From April 27 until May 2, 2004, a few of us officers from GBM joined other GB officers from Asia for a time of training and fellowship. The countries included Thailand, Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia and our host Singapore. From GB Malaysia, the group consisted of President Tnay Yong Hua, Nat. Secretary Tay Choon Neo, Nat. Treasurer Kathryn Tan, Southern Rep. Grace Lee, Training Coordinator Boon Choy Ying and newly recruited staff Ling Kiat Tsin. There were three events we took turns to attend because the time did not suit all of us: the Greenleaf Conference "Creating Great Places to Work", GB Asia Fellowship meeting and John Maxwell's EQUIP Leaders' Training. And of course we had a good time to fellowship with those present Getting to know the officers during the Ice-Breakers before the Leadership Training. More leaders are going to be trained because we need more leaders to serve God in our companies. Discussions between the countries. One interesting event coming up is the GB Asian games: 12 girls from each country will participate in competitions and quizzes in fun and fellowship this coming December. Look out for more info.
